Kind Words
Our school community is built on kindness, trust and shared purpose, and we are incredibly grateful for the feedback we receive from parents, carers and our wider community. This page brings together a selection of the kind words shared with us during the 2025 - 26 academic year. We wanted to share this feedback not only to say thank you, but also to celebrate the collective effort that makes Danesfield such a special place.

Highlights from our most recent Parent Survey:
“Maintaining your exceptionally positive, welcoming ethos and atmosphere. Excellent learning experiences delivered in innovative ways is an outstanding feature of the school. Genuine care is evident in communications from the school. There is a consistent wow factor that can only be achieved through really hard work. Thank you!”
“The school environment has become so much warmer over the past 2 years and it is now a warm and welcoming place. The effort to make connections with the military community is much appreciated.”
“You have excellent staff, all my interactions have been positive. Outside learning, outside play, strongly believe this is like a reset for them! I love the discipline of brain breaks, something I wish I had been taught from a younger age!”
“Challenging able pupils when they are working at a level beyond the rest of the class. Forest school and all the extra opportunities like student council and choir.”
“Very welcoming school, staff are all very friendly and approachable. Learning curriculum sets high standards for the kids. Forest school is always enjoyed. Nice to have some events through for the year for parents to be at school with the kids e.g. Xmas/Summer fairs.”
“Mental wellbeing of both staff & pupils + the willingness for everyone to succeed!”
“Really good Communications via various means. Great variety of activities, school trips, theme days; keeps the children engaged.”
Feedback from our Autumn Swap Shop:
“Genius idea, thank you so much for doing this”
“Thank you so much for doing this at such an expensive time of year. It has been so popular you should do another one in the summer!”
Feedback on the KS1 Christmas Production:
“Dear Mr Colley,
I just wanted to write to say a huge thank you to all the year 1 and 2 staff for the most amazing Christmas nativity. I've not seen a more polished Christmas play! All the children spoke so confidently and clearly, sang beautifully and looked like they were all having a great time.
The year 1 and 2 team have clearly put in a huge amount of time and dedication to pulling it all together and it really showed. Thanks again and have a wonderful Christmas and restful break.”
Parent feedback on our new service families entrance:
“Dear Mr Colley,
I just wanted to write and thank you and your team for your hard work and dedication in bringing the wonderful new Danesfield entrance to life. The new canopy is a most welcoming and inclusive design and promotes a recognition that will resonate with both old and new families living at Medmenham.
Thank you for not only listening but acknowledging and reacting. Your delicate but deliberate stewardship continues to set the tone for positive relationships with military families within the school community and beyond.
Best wishes and thank you.”
Feedback from our SEND Coffee morning:
“A huge thank you to Mr Foy who did a wonderful job at the coffee morning. Everyone who was there were so grateful to have the opportunity to talk, nearly everyone who attended today has got in touch with me to say how useful it was. Thank you so much to the school for offering this to SEND families.”
Feedback from the Buckinghamshire Maths Conference 2025 where our staff presented:
“They were fab! Many thanks for supporting our Maths leaders conference this year and helping to inspire other schools.”
